St George's Feast Day
Although today is also Mercy Sunday (Maxime was baptized on a glorious Mercy Sunday, seven years ago) St George's Feast Day couldn't go by without being celebrated. I have read Margaret Hodges retelling of Saint George and the Dragon for almost twenty years now! The beautiful lyrical languages along with the stunning illustrations have kept my children enchanted all through these years.
Ambroise, our budding artist, was truly inspired by Trina Schart Hyman's illustrations...
to create his own depiction of this famous legend.

Maria -- I love this book too! It's one my now-7 year old brought EVERY Sunday to Mass when he was 4 and 5. I love your son's version (almost better than Trina's)
